This tester tests the tow electrical socket on all vehicle types, including those who come out with an added electronic tow control relay device. The tester designed for use with standard automotive globes instead of LED's because with LED's and their low power consumption, you will get false readings as they will light up anywhere from 80-150mA. There is not enough load being put on the tow socket light circuits to pass the tests. The use of standard automotive globes is an easy way to put a lot more load on the tow socket light circuits, plus you have the option to increase the load by using globes with a higher wattage.
Test heavy truck, light truck, bus, minibus, motorcar and bakkie tow electrical socket seven pin (round-7-pin).
